Does The Meekermark require a Wedding Coordinator?
The use of a professional wedding coordinator is required for all wedding events at The Meekermark.  Choosing someone from our Preferred Vendor list is a reliable choice because we know and recommend these companies personally. 

Can I bring my own alcohol?
You may bring your own or select from a variety of bar packages offered through our exclusive bar service called Corn & Rye.  If you bring your own, you still need to hire licensed servers and this can be included through our recommended caterers.  

Can I hire my own caterer?  
Choose your own professional caterer or choose from our licensed and properly insured catering professionals.   

How many guests can I invite to my wedding?
The Meekermark will comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests.

How many hours can I rent The Meekermark?  
A standard rental 12 hours including set up and clean up ending at midnight or before. Extra hours are available at a slight additional cost.

Is security for my event provided? 
2 officers are required and must be present from the time that the bar opens until 30 minutes past when the bride and groom depart.  We hire them for you and you pay them directly on the wedding day.

Do you provide tables and chairs?
We provide and set up all the tables and chairs for your reception and ceremony. We have a selection of round and rectangle tables that seat 8-12 guests as well as 4 eight-foot custom-made farmhouse tables.  Set up and teardown of tables and chairs is included.

Are there nearby accommodations for out-of-town guests?:
The best: Westin Woodlands or Embassy Suites Woodlands.  Really good: Residence Inn or La Quinta in Tomball. We have personally stayed at all of these hotels.  They are within 20-30 minutes of The Meekermark.

Do you offer photography services? 
The Meekermark was designed and built by wedding photographers. Meeker Pictures has photographed hundreds of amazing weddings in the last 15 years!  Our best recommendation is to choose us if we are available! We have a fun and experienced photo team plus you can bundle and save a little money too.  If you have another favorite photographer, that’s fine also. 

Do you require that our wedding vendors be insured?  
Being properly insured is a decision made by the management of the vendors you choose to hire. The smart decision of course is to hire only those businesses that are properly licensed and insured. But since that’s not always the case we require that all party hosts (that’s you) purchase a blanket event insurance policy. The average cost for this is $140 and can be purchased from our recommended event insurance providers on our web site.
